The Challenge . . .

To find a way to avoid having to access all concrete surfaces to apply silane treatment after the concrete has been poured. And in turn, prevent the risk associated with having to spray chemicals in a confined environment.

The Solution . . .

DCI® S, which is batched safely as the concrete is being produced was chosen as the solution. Using DCI® S integral corrosion inhibitor meant no external access required to protect the structure. It also eliminates the risk of over-spraying chemicals into a sensitive environment.
